Default Leaky (slightly) Injector.....will I pass emissions test tomorrow?

I have to get my car inspected tomorrow (Houston) and I have been told by someone that I might have a leaky fuel injector. If it *is* leaky, it couldn't be by much....it doesn't stutter, or slip or missfire.....but before I bought this car, I had a bad run of a truck that had difficulty passing two years in a row....

.....any guesses on if I will be able to pass inspection tomorrow?

Maybe you can tell them before inspection that you are aware of a possible leaking injector and making a first priority to fix it as soon as possible?

I dunno, you cant really fix it by morning... unless you went out and bought the injector and replaced it therir. you can do that or just hope they dont find it.

Of If they do find it

Just say you are aware and you are in the midsts of repairing it shortly

Survey says.....I PASSED!!!!

Woohoo!

I decided to give it a try this morning...told the guy the whole story about the injectors and his response was, "Well, if it's not making your emissions rich enough to trip your O2 sensor (e.g. the check engine light would be coming on) then it's probably not rich enough to fail the emissions test."

So he put it on the machine and I have myself a new sticker good for one year!

I am a happy, happy man.
