Default Changing brake pads on an abs system, need some help

ok guys, i need your help hear. i need to change the brake pads on my car buy i overheard somewhere that it's not the same changing them on an abs system. you could mess something up if you do it the same way as in a non abs system. is this true. and if so what do i have to do differently? thanks guys.

I've changed front brakes on both and I don't think its any different. On abs you can see some notches on the hub behind the rotor and a tab. This is what makes the abs work. It shouldn't be in the way of a brake job, even if you remove the rotors to get turned. Now the back brakes I'm not sure about, but I think they are about the same (abs or not) just like the front.

thanks dollarbil. the front ones are the ones i need to change. if you just pushed the pistons back in and the system worked fine after then that's what i needed to know.

Yes just take the lid off the fluid resvoir under the hood. Then use a C clamp or something to push the piston back in. Put the lid back on the resvoir and with the car idiling in park or nuetral pump the brakes a few times until you have pressure. Now you should be safe for a test drive.
