Default '98 Fog Light Switch in a '01 stang...

Hey,
Long time no see. Got a question for you all. Do the 98 switches use the same connection as the 99+ switches? Ive purchased a 98 switch for my '01, and i cant seem to figure out how to connect my 99+ wire harness to the switch... Thanks.

Not sure. I know that the 99+ had the fog light switch on the center consol where the coin holder was. The switch might be able to fit in there. Just have to get the diagram from the 98 and the 01 to figure that out. Im sure they would be the same maybe an extra remot line thats about it.

Hmm, I have my wire harness infront of me, and it has a diagram of the 99+ switch, I think the switches use the same pins for that stuff...If you know what i mean....thanks for the response.

i think it went from 94-2000 then in 2001 they changed it
in which case it replaced one of the coin holders on the center bridge console.
