Hey guys Ive had my fuel gauge stuck on full and ran out of gas. When I put gas in, the needle does not move at all. My car can have a gallon of gas in the tank but still the gauge reads full. What can cause this?
There is a round plug near the center of the gas tank. Access from below near the bumper. This harness goes to the fuel tank and carries all of the signals to tank hat. Disconnect this round connector.
Does the dash fuel gauge change?
If yes, then the problem is in the fuel sender.
If no, then the problem is in the cluster.
