Question Gauges

I wanna get an apiller dual gauge gauge pod, but dont know what gauges to get. I was thinking about and oil pressure and a water temp gauge. Any other suggestions? Also, with getting these gauges, will i need to buy any other special equpment or anything to install them? Thanx

well you allready have a water temp guage, but it isnt very accurate, just cold warm and hot, oil pressure you have on your dash but yet again not very accuracte either no or good oil pressure. Harware should come in the gauge kit, and for another gauge I would suggest fuel pressure and hopefully in the future boost. If when you get the kit you dont have all the stuff to install, just go to autometer or 50resto.com and see what they have.

Thanx. If i go with the oil presure and wanter temp gauges, u think i can just splice into the the gauges on the dash or will i have to run all new wires to the sensors? If i go with fuel presure gauge, how do i hook that up, how does it really work? Thanx 4 the help

The new gauges that you would buy are more accurate and you would need to run all new plumbing in order to maintain that accuracy. Fuel pressure gauge hooks into your vaccum system where the furl flows with a T connector. And that inturn relays pressure to the gauge.
