Default Nitrous Question, Please Help.

Hello im 17 years old and im from Texas. I have a manual 2003 v6 Mustang with 30k miles on it and the only moding I have done is added a Flowmaster exhaust system. I was debating between a Vex nitrous system and Nitrous Express, but both companys told me different things, so I was going to ask you guys for your oppinions. Vex told me to go with there 50-75 shot and suggested me buying 1 step colder wires, which sounds like something to due with the ignition or something, and Nitrous Express said to go with there programmable 50-150 shot, but dont go anything over 100 hp and didnt suggest buying anything else. What I was wanting to know is, what should I program the hp to be, and is there anything I absolutely need to buy in order to keep my engine from getting too hott and messing up?

Also, in like two weeks I plan on getting 3.73 gears and a Ford T-Lock installed and I was wondering if i would stay pretty close with a 94-04 Mustang GT at take off?

depends if the GT is an automatic or not, if it is an auto then yes if not then no. GT's are running what 3.27's in a 8.8" rear end?? and basically about 70 more HP stock then the 6ers.

The most that I would run on a stock v6 with out a tune and stock injectors is a 75 shot and even with that I would recomend a tune. Much over a 100 shot and I recomend forged internals. Not too many guys have had good luck running a 100+ on stock internals with the 3.8. Colder plugs are good. Did you mean Zex? If so that is the brand I run on my car and I really like it. Zex and NX are good brands though. Zex is a lot easier to install though.

You might need a little more than gears to stay with the GT off the line but you notice a big difference is acceleration

For a 75 shot your stock ones will be fine.

With Nitrous he can take a pre-99 GT.

Heck! I take 'em without the stuff!
