Default Question on the 94-98 Motoblues

I know I should scan the posts Im sure it's in there somewhere.

But I never saw this from RPMOutlet and I have some questions

Its MOTOBLUE High-Output Crank Alternator Pulley
-Reduction Crank Pulley
-Alternator Pulley
-adds up to 9+RWHP(up to 4%fuel economy)

It's 80 bucks.

My questions are these

Is that really 9 hp at the wheels?
How long does it take to install?
Do I need to have a new belt?
*And Most Importantly!* My engine is new and warrentied will this modification void that warrenty?

Or is this something if it does and something does go wrong I'l just swap back on my old pulley system.

If anyone can answer these questions that would be great!

Thanks a million guys

Mustangdewd Joe

Well, I know a few things about it. You will need an impact gun to install them, I had a shop do mine for $50. Even though we have different engines, I felt an increase in power. Sometimes at idle the volt gauge reads lower than it used to, but I havn't had any dead battery or any other related problems. I'm not sure about warranty, I'm thinking the dealership could give you grief about them.

Yeah I might just have a shop do it for a minimum hour charge 50 ish dollars. Np.

My biggest concern is the Warrenty. btu I figure I'll get them and just if anything goes wrong Whcih i doubt (I baby this car on the road most of the time) I'll just swap back on the stock pullies.

Thanks for the info

They don't affect your warranty, except they won't cover your new pulleys, if they should warp or break.

Thanks for all the info Dollarbill, KS, and Pinto.

I bought the 94-98 Motoblues and a belt I think goodyear Gatorback for all Motoblue applications 94-04. So even if I don't need it, it's a safe replacement I don't mind doing, Just can't wait till they arive ^^

you'll definitely need a new belt, which used to come with the pulleys . ..

I'm pretty sure they're not all the same, but check the part numbers . ..

. .. and when you get the belt, save the sleeve with the part number on it.
