 Brakes
I just had my '05 Mustang into the dealership for the 3rd time since I purchased it in November for squeeling brakes. The first time in December they turned the rotors, the second time in January they turned the rotors and replaced the pads, and this last time while the tech did not originally hear anything my service writer did and is trying to get Ford to authorize repair. I was told there is a service bulletin out by Ford that says the dealer is to only turn the rotors and nothing else. The service writer said that he did not feel that would be wise without replacing pads also. He called his manager and now the manager wants to chat with the field rep. Is any one else hearing anything about the brakes on the new Mustangs?
