Default Locating computer

Hey, Just wanted to know where the computer is on my 2000 V6. Im getting the predator programmen soon, hopefully, and Im not too sure on how to install it. Im thinkin its under the seat, but not sure. Is it easy to hook up these kinds of things?

pull up the passenger sill plate, then take the kick panel off, then it is protected by two plastic peices that you will have to unbolt from the fram to slide the computer out. There might be another bracket, not to sure though. Ohh yeah, to ease in this, disconnect your battery and unplug all three of the computer cables runing from the ECU, makes it 10 times easier.

If I wanted to chip or program my car, do I need to pull it out or just unbolt it and go from there?

unbolt and go from there, I think you have to have it all plugged in when you program your car, when you chip it, just pull the entire ECU out and follow the instructions that come with the chip. Then reinstall everything reconnect the battery and your done.
