Arrow 3.9L spec sheet 3.8/3.9 differences

A while back, I found this spec sheet online somewhere. It was hard to find. The only problem is that it's hard to read because of the picture quality. It displays the differences between the 3.8 and the 3.9 engine, and also says why the 3.8 was replaced.

I posted it here-

Thanks, I wanted to know something about the difference in the 3.8 and the 3.9... That explains why SuperChips has these specs on their dyno chart...

This is the dyno chart, you need Adobe Acrobat Reader to read it...

I would had thought that a engine that is stroked a little would produce more torque and I would had expected it to produce the same amount of torque as the Freestar without only producing the same torque rating that the 3.8 produces.

But thanks again...

that has to be an automatic with the AC on.

that's a more than 20% driveline loss -roughly 25%. So they're either cooking the books, or they used an especially anemic vehicle . ..

The chip companies are infamous for that, you can expect 5-8 hp on a stock vehicle 12 on a modified car, certainly not 15. But if you start out with 10% lower output than expected, it sure boosts your numbers . . .

Woe to him who builds his palace by unrighteousness, his upper rooms by injustice, making his countrymen work for nothing...Does it make you a king to have more and more cedar?Did not your father have food and drink? He did what was right and just,so all went well with him. He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well...But your eyes and your heart are set only on dishonest gain,on shedding innocent blood and on oppression and extortion. Thanks, I hadn't even thought about that. Cookin' the books... Well it would make you go out and buy something like that until you realize that they cooked the books...
