Default Check engine light help

Secondary Air Injection System Monitor circuit High Voltage: is what comes up in a diagnostic

I think this means my smog pump. any info on it or how serious it is would be greatly appreciated

that's your air pump, located under the air filter, on the other side of the fender. It's a PITA to reach.

does this mean the pump is completely burnt out. And what bad affects will this have on my engine

easiest way would be to pull the tire, fenderwell cover. Should be able to immy under there and get to it.
