Hello,

I just bought a 2000 V6 convertible with stock 15 inch wheels and tires. I see a lot of the 2005 and 2006 Mustang "take-off" wheels and tires for sale with the 40 mm offset instead of the 28 mm offset that my car has (I think). While shopping for aftermarket wheels at the tire store and on the internet, I see that some stores say that their wheels have a 40 mm offset, and WILL fit 94+ Mustangs, but some stores say that they will not fit.

What's the real story?

P.S.- I'm talking about 17x8 wheels with 245x45x17 tires...

should fit, I think all 5 lug wheel from ford are the same offest.
