I'm getting a great deal on a 4.6 GT motor, with everything needed under the hood included. My question is what else will i need to have it working properly, cause i'm sure its not a plug-n-play job. About how much will it all cost, excluding the under-the-hood items?

You need the EEC and harness, a new tranny too, the 3.8 tranny is not compatible with the 4.6 block.

4.6 swaps are the hardest to do, mostly because of the OBDII EEC.

Advice, sell your ride and buy a V8, forget about the swap will cost more than the value of your car.
