Cost around $1,500: trans (T5 5 speed), bellhousing, flywheel, bolts (for FW and PP), clutch, pressure plate, Throw Out bearing, pilot bearing, pedal assembly, T5 wiring harness, 5 speed V6 computer.

Worth every penny, the increase in performance is amazing. You loose at least 20 RWHP from the 94-95 AODE which sucks big time.

I have a 1995 mustang v6 and I have a new engine, new body work, tires, brakes, exhaust...its almost like a new car. but the transmission is the same.

would it be worth it and cost the same for my 95 v6 to get a new transmission and through all of the trouble of going from automatic to manual

how long would it take if i had a mechanic do it?

i just recently done this swap.. and i love it but the only thing that sucks is i didnt take pics cuz i couldnt find my camera.. other wise i would have made a writeup.. but it took me about a weekend to do it and work out the kinks.. and it cost me about 800ish to do.. but thats cuz i went aftermarket with SPEC clutch kit, MGW short throw, SPEC aluminum flywheel.. just look around man there are people who will sell you everything you need for cheap.. or you can just search for deals and get everything piece by piece

so where did you get the transmission from? I was thinking about trying to get one from a bone yard but what else would I need? :

pedal assembly; clutch; shifter; bellhousing; flywheel; pressure plate; throw out and pilot bearings; harness; and computer?

should i try and scrap all of that off the other car or should i go out and buy those?
