Hi, I just bought a 2000 Mustang with a 3.8L engine, and the cruise control worked once and quit. I was wondering if the cruise control works off of a vacume advance in this car like some others do, as I may have a vacume leak somewhere.

I don't think so, but I could be wrong.

Check your fuses and connections first.

My Cruise Control Went Out On My Mustang 94 And It Was Actually Just A Plastic Connector That Broke In The Engine Compartment That Controls The Cable For Maintaining Gas Intake...cost Me 4 Bucks To Replace The Plastic Piece From A Junk Yard! Might Check That First

Yep, that's what I would suggest also. It's the cable on the throttle body, under the accelerator cable.
