Three things

1) when was the last time you changed your fuel filter?

2) do you use a K&N?

3) hav eyou checked the plugs and wires?

i just put in a K&N Filter about a month ago. I havent replaced my fuel filter since i got the car, i havent checked the plugs and wires yet i was planning on hitting up a tune up sometime this week. do you think the K&N has anything to do with it? did start happening a little after i put it in.

Thanks

if it had too much oil it can cause the MAF to have incorrect readings, but it's probably your fuel filter.

No problem -the fuel filter is supposed to be changed every 30,000 miles, and if you use cheap gas (like we all have to, nowadays) the stations that have the cheapest gas may skimp on cleaning the underground tanks, and the fuel filter gets clogged faster . . .
