You don't want Ford's block for high hp applications. you'd still have the OEM crank, pistons, etc.

You should start with salvaged block (you can get them for $75) and build from there.

Count on at least $4000 to drop in a 302/5.0L MORE for the 4.6, and that's not counting the rear end and transmission swap.

Looks like anything can be done. But will it hold? Ha Ha.
Thanks for your help.

They next time a coyote runs through my backyard, should I bag it and tag it? I have 6 dens behind my house along the river. Might look good on your wall. Just don't put it on your hood please.

nah, we've got plenty of 'em here. Wish we had more to take care of the rabbits that consume half my garden every year.
