When I role the window down on the passenger side it sqeals and the rubber seal along the bottom or something in the door is scratching and leaving streaks on the window. Its doing this on the inside window, the outside is fine. I am worried because I have had the windows retinted b/c the old tint from the last owner was old and damaged. Since then I have done some things to remedy the problem and it has helped but not completely. Its #$%!ing up the new tint job on that window. Whats causing it and how can I fix it?
You might want to maybe just rub your finger along the window seal. I had the same problem and now my tint is all messed up on both my windows. It happened like the day I got my car. Hope this helps
What did you do to fix it? Was it the rubber seal or something in the door doing it?
How old is your car? Did you buy it new?

Could be someone pulled the window and bent the tracks . . .

Also there is alittle play in both windows. When you role them down you can tilt them up by the end and rock them back and forth. Are all mustangs like that or is it just mine.

At some point in its history, it may have been broken in to, or the owner locked his/her keys inside the car.
You shouldn't be able to move it much.
The tracks are probably bent -you can run it to the shop and have it checked out . ..

Hey man try this website...www.tintprotector.com...you need to get a set of felts for the inside of the window..I was having the same problem with scratches on my window because the tint added thickness to the glass...I added the felts and I have no more issues. Ford was to cheap to built the Mustang with felts on the inside and outside of window.. its about 30 dollars for the set and it is easy to install, comes with instructions....Hope this helps, good luck
If so, and youre mechanically inclined, take off the door panel and see how it cranks down. Its possible its just a thick tint problem or theres some build up of something in the track you cannot see (sand, dirt, dust).
You did your own tint? Did you get off all the old tint and really clean it off with denatured alcohol?
