Angry Dual exhaust nightmare

I recently decided to put a magnaflow dual exhaust on my 2006 v6 and add the Gt back plastic. I purchased the mag kit and had my dealership order the gt plastic. after 4 days of waiting... when i see the car and the back plastic did not match i was taken back that the dealership would try to give my new car back this way... the manager was not there so I came back a few days later... After looking at it for a while they decided that they would repaint it for me... Second time and another four days.. i arrive to find that the color looks beter then it did but is still off.... If you look down on it from the back it looks good but when you look at the side...you can tell the plastic is darker and not as flakey... ( the color i have is redfire)
The dealer tried to explan to me that its almost imposible to match factory colors exact.... but other new cars on the lot match so i guess only the factory can make this happen??? I talked to a few local paint shops and some say that the car should be blended from the doors back!!!!! and other say that they cant promise me a beter result.... Now to top it all off i had a bracket break for my exhaust so i have to take it back to get fixed... as much as I love my car... every time i walk to it i can see the color mismatch and think it looks horrible..... Does anyone have any suggestions or could recomend a Great body shop that can make my car look like it did when it came from the factory???? Just a warning for anyone considering changing plastics... do your homework on color match and plastic.... you could be in for a disapointment like I was.

well, Im not an expert but I do know that it is very hard to perfectly match factory paint because there are usually minor differences in the paint used on any two separate cars. One car painted in your "redfire" probably wont be exactly the same as another car painted with the same color. I doubt that you will get it perfect unless you somehow use the exact paint that the factory uses. Thats also why the shops reccommend that you blend it gradually so its not noticeable.

BS, I work at a Mercedes Benz dealer and I've seen my body guys blend colors flawlessly. What you have to do is have a color analysis done, what happens is the take a chip off your paint seperate the hues and contrast and the computer makes the mix. Any good body shop should accomplish this.

Well it is impossible to match the paint... they can get very very close...this is why they blend, if they would have blended it then you could not tell the difference...take it back to them and tell them to blend...they should blend it with the trunk, and maybe back panels...

OK, heres what you do. You paint the bumper completely black. Then you connect the black bumper with black lines painted on the rest of the car. You'll never get it perfect. You could probably paint your car another color and make it a nice customized look. You could even add some harley davidson logos or something. Like the new harley f150

jr.. If you could let me know what paint system you use and who makes the color analysis machine...i will look for a shop around here that does that ,if not, where ever they do it.... Humm a nice drive to texas for some paint work... I will try to post a side pic so you can see the variation... The idea of something custom on the back to hide it did cross my mind.... but id rather invest the cash in performance....

I'll get the info on Monday, most high end paint shops use this type of system. hit up one of the Automotive paint supplier, if worse comes to worse contact House of Kolor and have one made its a little expensive. and all you really need is about a quart and than the clear, alot of the cheap shops add alot of reducer to help dry the paint quicker (this would also turn the tint of the color into a different shade), also dont go to a place that uses heat lamps to dry, bake dry is the only way to go.

Kmagen13 in response to your comment about blending, it is a given that you blend when you paint a single body piece, because your paint has already aged on the rest, its not really blending but more like feathering. Colorsanding and a good buffer takes care of that.
