exhaust noise problem

i have a stock '02 v6 mustang exhaust with 60000 miles on it and lately there has been an "extra" sound coming from the exhaust when i accelerate. it sounds like an exhaust header gasket needs a replacing. is there any other common problem that comes up with the exhaust system? if you have a question about the problem, feel free to ask

i have a 2000 v6 with a cracked header tube on the passenger side hard to locate but it is where the #6 tube goes to collector

whats the number 6 tube and the collector?
