Default metal rolling sound in front dash area or front underside

Hi, this is my first time posting, so I ask all of you, to please bear with me. I purchased my 04/v-6 in 12/05 with 12k miles on it. It appeared to be fine except for a couple of superficial scratches. Did a carfax on it and no accidents reported. Soon after buyin it however found out that the right tire rod was bent-had it fixed. Then found out that the clutch cable needed to be re-tightened and the rear diferrential cover was bent and needed to be replaced-had both done. Then I noticed this weird sound, (like a bolt or coin rolling in the front dash area or front underside but couldn't pinpoint it), so I took it in to the dealer. Well they took the front dash all apart but couldn't find anything. Then they had some "specialist" come in and check to see if he could find anything wrong with it but came back with that it had to have been in an accident no matter what the carfax report said and that it wasn't under warranty. So they stopped looking for the "rolling part" or would continue for 500 dollars. I obviously said no, but I am still wondering what could be rolling in the front part of the car- could it be a bolt-or could it be something more serious like a tire rod or I don't know. Does anyone have any ideas?????
thanks in advance

I find it hard to believe that with only 12k on it that it has had that many things go wrong with it. It sounds like someone was playing "Dukes of Hazard" with it. There was nothing in the heater ducts? Can you be more specific of when it happens? It could be anything considering the abuse it seems to have gone through. There are alot of guys here who can answer just about anything..... BTW, welcome to the forum.

I have that same sound in my 04 and i had it in my sn95 when i had it honestly idk what it is but it doesnt seem to be anything to worry about if you only hear it every now and then then again if you hear it like wvery few minutes i would take it to a mechanic or a dealership although dealerships tend to be more exspensive they have dealt with the problem most likey before

If it's been in an accident, you should be able to get your money back from whoever sold you the car.

Noises do weird things in a car, they bounce off windows and can appear to come from totally the opposite place they appear.

Try taking out the shifter bezel and the center bezel and have someone look around with a flashlight. while you're driving.

It could be something underneath your cowl as well.
