Default '99 Mustang running very rough with little horsepower

Not sure where to start. I have a '99 mustang, V6 with 120,000 miles. When I crank the car it cranks fine, but now ides rough, and bogs down when accelarated. It cuts out pretty badly while driving. I have changed ou the fuel filter, spark plugs an wires. Not sure which direction to go. Would appreciate any help.

Start with the gas- sounds like you have a bad tank of fuel-If you can get it out it would be good-If not go to an auto parts store and get additives to get out water and boost octane-then run it down-go to another station from now on-
Good luck-
Mike

do you have the right degree spark plugs in? I think they should be 32C and not 22C, I did that...kinda hestitates in first gear but all the rest are fine unless you mash it.

And the gaps should be checked.

A lot of people install the plugs out of the box without gapping them.

Did you disconnect the battery after you changed the wires and plugs?

I'm not sure which degree they are. I will have to check. I replaced them with the same plugs that were in the car when I bought it, which were split fire. Thanks for your help!

It wasn't running near as bad as it is now before I changed them. It seemed to run alot better after they were changed but after a few days it started running really bad, almost as if it's only running on 5 cylinders. I originally changed the wires because the gas milage was getting pretty bad. Thanks for your help!

I threw on the split fire plugs in my old car -check the gap.

They didn't work well with my computer then, the resistance was higher than the OEM, which threw off the system.

Double check you wires to make sure they all have good contact and are in the right order . It should look like this from the front .

3 6

2 5 Spark plug wire order

1 4

1 2 3 Coil Pack wiring order
4 6 5
