He has a ford tarsus 99-02 3.0 So he wants to take the shifter off the wheel and install a floor mounted unit. later we'll going to make a cobra SHO (I found a 2003 cobra moter and tranmission and ecu for 4000G It only has 23000 mile on lt. The IRS was sold already.) anyone have any ideals for the build.
You are going to put the Cobra Motor in the Tarus or your car. I am confused here... for the love of god you are not going to go thru all that trouble for a Tarus.

I don't think that will fit, #1, #2 the tranny won't take that much power even if you could find a bellhousing.
You'd be better off picking up a 4.4L V8 and tranny from a SHO of the same year, and running the Volvo heads and tune.

yeah, it can be done, but it will require a LOT of fabrication, and a good frame shop set of equipment. for alignment, etc.
