All the ones that had % differences stated 25% reduction in crankshaft pulley size. I didn't see any for a 97 that was greater than this.
Prices range from $70 - $110.
eBay also has some listed for about $40
you won't find anything more than 25%, on the 94-98 models, any more than that, and you'll have charging/overheating problems.

There isn't much difference. You can try to lose some weight off the front end by choosing the lightest pulleys, but they're all 25%, so they will perform about the same.

the websites often don't have up to date information, and are outsourced in a lot of cases.
Unless it's a BIG wholesaler/retailer with computerized tracking and control, stay away from ordering online and stick to the telephone. Then double check.

I see RPM Outlet is selling them from Ford Racing, but will I need to buy new gears or anything else?
I have one -it's ok, but the better ones have been re-released by Detroit Locker and Auburn.
Of all available, I'd have picked up an Auburn Diff, if it was available when I got mine 3 years ago.
Gears would probably do you very well.

You didn't need to buy any other parts after you put in the differential??
The installer should have the installation materials, -shims, gear oil, friction modifier (if applicable) etc.,
While you have it off, you may want to throw on a brace, but it's not necessary.
