Just out of curiousity what is the recommended lifespan of the spark plugs? I currently have about 63,000 miles on my car right now and another thought that has crossed my mind, would some of the mods I have been doing require me to upgrade to a hotter plug? Help is always appreciated.

Depends on conditions and driving style.
Unless you've added a power adder, I highly doubt it. And even then, you generally go to a colder plug.

OK, I figured the plugs should be ok. The reason I question is I just switched to 93 octane tune and it has been driving real steady but when I go WOT it makes a ticking/knocking noise that increases in rate as I speed up. It does this until I hit about 4k rpm's then it kind of fades off. Does it do this because I just switched? or is there something going wrong?

sounds like pinging. How long since you've changed your fuel filter?

It means you're not getting enough fuel, and it's pre-igniting.
Usual culprit is a blocked fuel filter. Next comes a dirty MAF, and last comes clogged injectors (usually).

yeah I went and bought a new filter yesterday, now I just have to find time to put it in. I am pretty sure its not the MAF, being that I cleaned it not to long ago.
