Hey guys, I'm a classic mustang man and usually post there but, I have a problem with my wife's Windstar van. Since it is a Ford Taurus anyway maybe it is similiar to the Mustang. Anyway it has no odometer reading and it displays "- - - - - - -" and no speedo reading. If the speed sensor was out would it show these symptoms? Anyone had a similar experience? I have went through the odometer tests and cluster tests using the trip button and can't interpret anything.

maybe, -you checked the fuses?

Fuses check out OK. I'm stumped.

Mine didn't show on my 07 Whne i first purchased it but all i had to was push the info button on hte center dash till it showed up. if the display is anything like the Mustang there are different stages on the info section of your Odometer, such as gas cunsumption, how many miles to empty & then there is a blank screen. Maybe that will help. Besides that i am not sure waht else it could be.
