Default Front Sway Bar Question

I was wondering if it was unusual that a 2004 mustang v6 have a front sway bar ,and not a rear sway bar? Also, would it help if I upgraded it to a steeda tubular front sway bar?

Having a front sway bar and not a rear is commonplace with the V6's. They were all made like that. If you're going to buy a front one, make sure it matches with the back, a stronger rear with the stock front changes the geometry of the car in turns. Best bet is to pick up a GT rear and be done with it, unless you're going for performance handling. Most of us with the 99-04's find the GT rear will be sufficient.

With a stick axle, beefing up the front without having a rear will increase the amount of understeer.

If you want to upgrade the handling, the starting point is always going to be the rear sway bar -unless you have an independent rear.

With an independent rear, the front of the car is more important.
