Exclamation 2000 3.8L Mustang Traction Control Switch Off Light No Longer Works?

Recently I accidentally did a spin out on ice and then on pavement (one incident) with my 2000 Mustang, 3.8 ltr engine. Traction control was on at the time, now I can not get the "off" light to illuminate when I push the traction control button. The button still works as I can turn it on and off, and it works (tested in snowy parking lot) but the off will not light up. I have seen other posts regarding this problem other places but no answers. Could I have burnt out part of a module by spinning the wheels to much or could it be as simple as a bulb issue?

Most of the lights in the instrument clusters are no longer bulbs, they're LED's that are soldered onto the circuit board that is the instrument cluster. The part you see is only one side.

If you want to, you could take it out and apart to find the busted LED and attempt to solder a new one, but I'd suggest buying one from a salvage yard or from Autozone's salvage parts dealer. Just go into Autozone and tell them what you need, you pay there and have it shipped in about a week. 1 year warranty also.

My odometer stopped working and I got one from them for about $100.00
