yeah, so long as you stay out of the boost (which is easy, considering how rarely you go above 3,000 RPM) the life of your engine will be unaffected, more or less.
However, if you race it all the time, or have numerically high gears that hit 3000 RPM on the highway, the life will drop. but that would happen anyway.
I figure a 10% drop in life expectancy for a SC 3.8L that sees mainly daily driving -and that's being conservative.
There are a couple of folks I know that installed the Procharger on a 100,000 mile engine, and were fine at 150,000 miles. -But they follow schedulaed maintenance to the letter.
