Question S/N fog light wiring and switch, 1994 Mustang

I have a 94 3.8 and it doesnt have fogs, i want to buy the lightss and switch, i know the plugs for the lights are already on the front but im not sure of the wiring for the switch, is it already under my council where the switch belongs or do i have to wire it myself... also, where would be a good place to buy the lights and switch, besides Ebay?? thanks, jim

im not sure as to how they bolt up on a 6cyl bumper but i have a bumper off a gt bc my car was in a frontend collision so the kid who had it got the bumper off a gt and it has the holes for the fogs... and by the looks of it the wiring is already there to. im just not sure if the wiring for the switch is under the center council or if i have to run it myself bc that would suck

they just take some clips and screws to hold it in. I beileve there are three screws that hold the light mount in place then the actual lense is held in to the mount by a pressure thingy.

Lee, did you say pressure thingy? Sorry, had to do it......

The mounting for the fogs is on the console and mounts where the change clip is.

I don't believe so..... At least that was not the case in my car. I had my whole front end off thanks to a deer, and there was no wiring in place for the fogs. But you may be lucky. If you find the harness for the fogs up front, make sure the color codes are the same if you find them under the console.

5.0 Resto has complete kits to install Fogs on your car...but to answer your original question..I THINK but don't KNOW for sure the wires are somewhere inside the console.Probably the pigtail for the switch is taped to the harnes so it's not laying around loose in there. At least that's how they did for some options (upper speaker for the Mach 460 sound system) so that they didn't have to make so many different wiring harnesses to keep on the assembly line

I fitted fogs to my `95 some time ago DEAD EASY just removed rear change clip in centre console, remove centre "box" to gain access, 2plugs under switch area find matching terminal layout & plug in. Only extra part needed is relay to fit in socket in fuse box under hood (labelled under box lid) and fit extra fuse in box under dash(drivers side) This worked on mine anyway took approx.45 minutes including bolting on lamps in bumper.....Hope it works for you

HTTP 602 Unsupported Browser link to the fog lights

So let me see if I have this right....

The wiring is already in place for the fog lights, It's just a matter of plugging them in and inserting another fuse on the V6?

I have a 98 v6 and bought cheep fog lights that came with the harness and every thing then had to buy the gt fog light switch of the Internet for about $26 and riged the lights to that caz i dint want to use the cheep switch it came with. then later i wired it up to real fogs when i got them. It really wasn't that hard took me about 30mins to install the whole thing. but yes the v6 mustang has the holes for the fog lights.
