My 1994 V6 Auto mustang... almost sticks in park... The button that you push, takes 2 hands to press so you can shift out of park... anyone know what might cause this, or how to fix it... it only does it in park...

There are three switches that may be getting poor contact.
One is a lockout connected to your brake, another is on the ignition, and the last is on the shifter.
One of them is failing.

do you know how i could check what one is failing?... I can start the car just fine...i think it maybe the lockout... do how would i fix something like this?
I have a diagram at home. I maybe able to scan it and post it tomorrow. If not tomorrow, then Monday sometime.
the lockout is in the shifter assembly. not on the transmission itself. if your brake lights dont work all the time, then youve found out that the bpp (brake pedal position) sensor is bad. seeing that its hard to push the button on the shifter, but its possible, im goin to guess that its in the shifter assembly.
