 Starter! makeshift mounting
Here's my problem, I was putting a starter on and musta used the wrong bolt and it cracked the bell housing where the top bolt goes in on the starter, its just cracked on the edge so it wont effect it but I was wondering if just the bottom bolt would be good enough to hold the starter on or will it crack the starter casing?? Anyways the only solution I can think of is some how getting a nut on a bolt for the top hole.... also, I was wondering what bolts are to be used for mounting the starter? are they the same as what holds the transmission to the engine?
