I've decided to go with Tokico high performance shocks and struts but I need help deciding between Eibach's pro kit springs or Steeda's sport springs. They are close to the same price and they are within .25 inches of each other so I wanted to know if anybody has either of these or would recommend one over the other. Or if anybody has any comments on the performance of these two springs it would be appreciated.
I have eibachs and they're really nice. I don't have anything to compare them to other than stock springs so i really can't give you an opinion other than they'll drop your car about 1.5" all they way around and the ride is pretty good. it's comfortable yet you can feel the road.
I will say that once you start adding weight to your trunk (like baggage and subs that like another 150 lbs in the back) then you'll start to bottom out during heavy acceleration. Like at a red light or on an on ramp, but it's not a huge issue if you take it easy while carting stuff around. Just having subs in the back is fine, no bottoming out there. it's only when your trunk is full of heavy stuff. And by bottom out, I mean that you'll hit the stopper that's in the rear of your car above your rear end, not that your bumper will scrape the pavement.

T-lok 3.73, Steeda Tri-ax shifter, Eibach springs, KYB shocks/struts, Steeda bumpsteer kit with X2 balljoints, Steeda clutch quadrant with adjuster, Steeda rear lower control arms (uppers coming soon) 2.5in dual exhaust with H-pipe, Borla mufflers, 3in tips.
It says I don't need caster camber plates with either spring kit but 1.5" inches seems like a long ways to drop without any. Do you have any with your eibachs or would I be perfectly fine without any?
I just installed Tokico shocks and Vogtland lowering springs (1" drop all around) and after an alignment, the car will need caster plates to accomodate the new stance. So, install them w/ the shocks and springs and save yourself some money.

Nope no CC plates whatsoever. My suspension set up consists of the eibach springs, KYB replacement gas shocks and struts, Steeda bumpsteer kit and X2 balljoints.
With the balljoints, I actually have an extra .5 in drop up front so I have a half inch staggered look to my car. It's pretty sick. You'll have to get an alignment after installing the balljoints and bumpsteer kit. You'll have to get an alignment after you install the springs regardless.
You're probably going to experience a lot of bumpsteer if you just get springs. That's another issue the people tend to overlook. Bumpsteer is when your tires want to turn left or right when going over imperfections on the road. I drove around with it for awhile and let me tell you that it's not fun.
Also, it drops the car enough just so that the tires fill up the wheel well without giving you a *dropped* look.
Here's a pic of my car and how it looks with said suspension parts: http://www.allfordmustangs.com/photo...4/ppuser/47403

Thats a real nice looking car 96 . I was planning on going with the same thing with steeda's bump steer and x2 balljoints. And actually I want to put two of my alpine type r's in as well; you said that you don't have any trouble with just the subs and amps in the trunk its when you put other stuff in that it hits the stopper? And without the cc plates you don't have any uneven wear on the tires or anything like that? Everyone seemed to stress them so heavily when I got down around 1.5" and in our case almost 2" in the front.
Thanks! yeah, it'll only hit the stopper when I load the trunk with stuff and try to accelerate hard (doesn't work very well BTW) or if I have people in the car. If you're by yourself, you could accel. hard all day!
I don't have CC plates and my tires wear a little bit more on the inside but that's because I have neg. toe-in and a little bit of neg. (when the top of the tire is slightly tilited toward the engine, I'm having a huge brainfart right now) but that's for hard corners. I just took it to a guy that does alignments, gave him the specs that I wanted and it drives straight and true. he even set the bumpsteer for me for only an extra $10. he's pretty cool.
