Heavy duty steel tires on a 2001 Mustang. Any thoughts?
Ya so Im thinking about putting steel tires on my mustang to avoid getting them shot out by the police in a chase or running over their spike strip..what are your guys thoughts on this?

Ya the steel ones are more resistant to bullets but the aluminum ones are much lighter but prone to damages...and yes if your wondering Im crazy!!!

If you get some of those tires that can run without any air pressure, you'll have to get an outrageously overpriced monitoring system for those tires, otherwise you'd never know one was flat. But other than that, they'd be good to have, never know when you'd pick up a nail, screw, or something else. Or even worse, someone gets mad and cuts your tire.
Or in your case, any police issue 9mm's or spike strips...
