 1983 mustang transmission problem
Hi I just bought a 1983 mustang today and it has transmission problems I was wondering if it sounds like the torque converter? When you put the car in drive it will spin the rear tires in gravel. It will not shift gears at least I was told it wouldnt. when the car is in park the engine does not seem to rev up like it should it feels like it has some resistance but does not move. when I put the car in reverse it will not go anywhere feels like it is locked up, when I push on the gas it looks like the tires almost want to go forward. I guess what I am asking here is does this sound like a bad torque converter or what? |
