Question Tire Problem

I recently upgraded to a 17 inch tire from Tire Rack (Sumitomo HTR 245 45-17). Excellent tire, great handling and very sporty look. Here's the problem. The trunk has the capacity to handle that wimpy 15-16 standard tire; thus I don't think that I can keep a spare 17 inch in the trunk. I'm worried that I might be on the highway somewhere and get a blow out (it has happened before, almost screwed up my Chrome wheel). What can I do about this? Is there anyway of keeping a 17 inch tire in the trunk?

So your saying u want to have a 17in Spare Tire? why worry about that? I just carry a simple little spare tire, and if i have a blow out, then i'll throw my tire in the trunk not worrying about fitting it in the spare tire location, i mean you would try to replace that tire as soon as possible, so not to much problem...
