Exclamation NEW Heat Sheild Gaskets

New Heat Shield Gaskets from Velocity Turbo Systems.

Performance Gains from a simple change of a Gasket!

Gaskets now available to adapt P.I. Intakes to Non-P.I. Heads. For all those guys that have been asking for these for the last few years.

(Currently we have a select number of available applications, but if you want a Gasket that we don't have yet, just send us a new set of the gaskets you would like made and we will put them into a CAD file format for no additional charge. In other words, if you pay for the gaskets we will not charge you to lay them out for cutting, this doesn't mean that the gaskets are FREE! lol) (Some additional discounts may be available for larger first time orders)

Our Heat Shield Gaskets are the latest innovation from Velocity Turbo Systems Development Team. These Gaskets create a near impenetrable thermal barrier between all of the intake tracks surfaces. The Composite we developed blocks 500 TIMES the Surface to Surface Heat Transfer of any other gasket material available!

Here is a couple of examples of where the Power Gain is Achieved:

The Gains and Advantages you get from our Heat Shield Gaskets are, No more Heat Soaking of you Undercharger Intercooler which means a cooler denser charge into your cylinders. They also prevent your intake track from heating up, meaning your Cooler Charge Temps (IAT's) stay Cool instead of heating up as it passes through the intake, both before and after the Intercooler. The same basic principle applies to N/A Intakes.

Another area where there are performance and efficiency gains is on Turbo Gas & Diesel Engines. These gaskets are very versatile and can be used almost anywhere on a Car or Truck, but Turbo applications really take the Cake! On a Turbo application there are serious under hood temperatures to contend with and these gaskets can help to better manage it. These gaskets can be used on all of the Turbo Systems current gasket locations in addition to where the "Header or Manifold" bolts to the head. By using our Heat Block Gaskets on the Turbo to Header/Manifold connection and the Header/Manifold to Head connection you will be doing several things.

1. You will be separating the heat that is contained in the Exhaust Housing of the Turbo (it tends to stay hot longer due to the material it is made out of and the thickness of the housing) That will allow your Pre-Turbo Piping to dissipate its heat faster or in other words allow it to cool down very quickly. This will allow your exhaust gases to travel at a high rate of speed from gear to gear, which will make for a quicker spooling of the Turbo and will lower the amount of time all of the pipes stay hot, which will keep you under hood temps down considerably.

2. You will be separating the RED HOT Turbo Headers/Manifolds from your Heads. This will allow your engine to run cooler and keep the outer radius of your cylinder walls & piston rings from heating up more than the rest of the cylinder or ring.

3. By separating the Turbo from the Mount, it will allow the Turbo to also cool at a faster rate than it would if it were still connected to the Header/Manifold.

Those were just a few of the applications where we have found a lot of gain, but I am sure that you guys and gals will find many other uses for these gaskets.

In addition to these gaskets we also have an adhesive backed Carbon and Multi-Layered Aluminum thermal barrier that can be used to block almost any heat source other than an open flame. This is a great material to use on the air gap under the intake of your 2-3-4Valve Mustang and F-150. It also works great for protecting fuel lines, sensors, radiators and hoses.

Do to the 100 or more different combinations please call for Pricing! Please be patient with us as we are in the process of updating our store. We are adding near about 300 New products so be on the look out here for the NEWEST Products available from Velocity! Here is a Performance graph from a previous test that we ran. The results are from a N/A car with NO mods and just a intake gasket set!

Here is the Adhesive Backed Multi-Layered Thermal Barrier. These are Privately made for Velocity and they are Patented so you will not find them anywhere else!
