Who's coming to the Sturgis Mustang Rally? Labor Day weekend 2008
Just seeing if anyone's thinking of coming to the 2nd Sturgis Mustang Rally Aug 28-Sept 1 2008. Last years was great & planning this one to be better. We are hoping @ this years drag races, we could set it up like a "Pinks:All Out" style. It would be ET racing, but with everyone who qualifies-Give them $$$, and each round, if racers want to wager the $$$...so be it. There would be a Grand Prize cash award also, still trying to work out the details.
Either way there will be drag racing, autocross, 2 poker runs, the Show & Shine, kids pedal car races (68 Stangs), pub crawl & a cruiser parade. This is my hometown..so look for me.

Wow, GTS5.0. What a small world. I read you're letter to MM&FF in mustang mail for the new issue just last night on the crapper. "Rare or well done". I would be delighted if I could go to Sturgis with a celeb such as yourself. I have family in rapid city and bellefourche, SD. I'll ask my boss if i can leave the house for a little. I've got some stanger friends here, too. We could make a little nebraska convoy.

Rocket I'm by no means a celeb. I just had a question and they answered it for me. I dunno. I think it would be sweet if we could get some guys together for this. I have a friend with a 98 Cobra and I need to do some more begging to get him to go. There is also a Midwest Mustang Madness at Mid America Motorplex on Sept.20 & 21. Kinda pricey but sounds like fun. Road course open lapping and drag racing for two days!

I'll definately be there the end of sept, that's right down the street. You should keep me posted about your plans for sturgis and I'll do the same just in case we can get a group to go. Oh, and i'll have no modesty here. Any body in one of the best mags there is, no matter the reason, is a celeb to me.
