Good news today, car maybe ready by the 9th. It may not have the subframe connectors yet.
88 mustang gt, 5.0 ho, t-5, silver and black, 3" cowl hood, black/gray interior that needs some TLC, nothing major though. Limited slip rear with 2.73 according to the code. The paint is new, but the guy my friend had working for him at the time did not do a great job. I noticed some cracks on the pass side roof. He is having it repainted for me as part of the deal. He is going to build the subframe connector and driveshft loop also.
I am getting it from a friend that own/operates a restoration shop near williamsburg. I have been debating on buying it for about 3 months. Then a week ago he let me drive for a day. That sold it (which he knew it would) He gave me a good deal. He has had it a a couple shows in the spring and took 2nd place. both told him if he would detail under the hood 1st would have been his in that class.
So guess what will get the most attention once it is here. Once I get it I will get photos and stuff up on my web site
Shocker's Garage. Most likely about 2 weeks for the pages to be built. I have all my projects listed there along with the history of what I have or am doing to them.
05 are you going to be at the truck pull in rhineland Saturday? Belive me and the girlfriends family are going. You most likely know her family, her brther owns the bar there.
