Legislation Goes Up Against Muscle Cars

Have you guys read that article in the Mustang News section? If that happens here I am going to be very angry about it. What do you guys think will happen?

They have been talking about that for a couple years now and i think they're getting serious, the regulation for mpg is going to be 35, and the way i see it is either this next bodystyle refeshment is going to be the last, or the new musclecars are going to be riceburners, the return of the svo mustang, 2.3 turbos and sh1t, and in that case i'll pass, nothing against the svo though

Maybe Turbo's can come standard on future Mustangs to get better MPG? The SVO is kind of cool but the reason for it coming back is sad. This is horrible do these people have no heart? These kinds of cars are what we live for... The next body style may be the last before they pretty much kill the Mustang. Mustang II's anyone? But yeah this will be sad and I can't believe this will happen...

I don't know about that. People don't mind paying for that stuff. I guess if I wanted it bad enough I would do it.

Virgina has made it illegal to install most V8 motors into small trucks for obscure reasons.

If a Democrat gets the presidency and Democrats keep control of Congress, I will almost guarantee that 93 Octane fuel will become extinct, gas prices will rise even higher and there will be severe penalties for us working on our own cars.

If you give a damn about our beloved hobby you will carefully research this subject!

I am sure that other states will follow suit with that. I am surprised that California does not have that as yet. We are the ones who usually start stupid stuff like that.
