Nitrous in CA legality ? got juice ?

Last time I ran nitrous was about 10 years ago and I never had any issues dealing with the police. Their biggest concern seemed to be my suspension and exhaust. I only got asked to open my hood one time and the officer didnt ticket me for any of my motor mods(including nos), just exhaust. My question is what is gonna happen if I get pulled over and caught with Nitrous? Have any of you fellow CA Mustang drivers been caught with the juice?

Saleen was selling there focus with the bottle in the car ready to go. But from what I heard you had to fill it up your self. Maybe depending on the state in which it was going to.

ZEX kit on the way , guess I'll try my luck. I NEVER street race and only speed on clear open highways\freeways so I dont think I will get sweated.

Problem with that is if you hook up the system, the dealership voided your warranty

You know I believe you are right on that. I think I heard that. So that makes you wonder why did they put it in. I guess after the warranty is up you can ricky race around.

Yeah, it kind of sucks that they do that to you and it's all set to go. Very tempting to hook it up lol.

The kit states its adjustable 75-175hp. I'm hoping it includes different jet options, I wasn't asked to specify. Still need to buy the window switch. I know i cant expect warranty work if I bring the car in with the N2o kit. My question is can dealerships tell even after the kit has been removed by looking at data stored in the computer? Not to worried, I'm at 50K now and warranty is up @ 75K & I have a Harley to ride if I ever need down time for repairs\mods.

I figure if you put the stock tune back in then you should be okay at least that's what I think. I'm sure someone that knows will chime in.

well my old man is a CHP SRG. and i talked to him about doing that to mine
he may have just been trying to scare me but, i think if you get caught with it they will impound your car, because their theory is
"if you have it installed and driving it on the street your using it"
so id just leave the bottle out of the trunk and in the garage until u know you have to use it.

the impound thing, but be if your racing and have it, but it was awhile ago when i talked to him about it
