This guy I know with a Honda Civic lost to a corvette only by 0.4xx seconds. Granted he has a Honda CRV 2.0 engine in it and a RAI but sure seems that a corvette should be dusting the competition with the horses they have.

i have respect for most ricers but id never be seen driving one unless its a hybrid or something and gas is 5+ even before that id be riding my bicycle around. my friends civic hatch with a h22a and other stuff does low to high 12's
we can always do a meet up here in LA somewhere and have a meet set up in orange country near the beach. we can caravan down there and meet up with them
ehh never been much of a beach going person i think i will sit out on this.....did anyone go to the Annual V6 Meet in Elysian Park Saturday it was a huge turnout over 100+ stangs there with some classics nice giveaways and free gifts

lol maybe its the type of meets i dunno...on the site im on theres a meet every week and we hit the track either thursday or sunday so if your down and this is to everyone lets hit the track this sunday @ irwindale speedway and lets run some 1/8th mile drags or! just spectate and hang out if your interested pm me for more info.

I seen Juan at the Dale yesterday. I went and am having some big traction issues. No more wheel hop in first but when I shift into second (@ about 50mph) I spin the tires big time and fish-tale it. Not worth it to go anymore until I get some drag radials and a second pair of rims for them.
I do have a video of my last run. Havent seen it but it was my best launch. 0.5xx secs. I'll try to upload it to my site on Sunday.

are you even doing a burnout to heat up the tires u have now? if ur hooking to bad in second it sounds as if one tire is biting more than the other making u fish out so i guess ur out this sunday then?

I got a real smooth long burnout int he waterbox, yes they were heated better then ever.
Probably out for tomorrows as I only have tomorrow to catch up on everything for next week as today I had to go to a family function.
Someone told me I needed better struts and shocks as well as Danny from DBPE. Maybe I'll have to get some Blistines (however you spell it) and DRs before even trying again.
