Just need to know if there are any reputable body shops in the San Francsico Bay Area that does great work on 87-93 Mustangs and has no problems getting parts.

These guys come highly recommended from friends and associates of mine in the Bay Area. Not only do they specialize in mustangs, but that's ALL they work on!

So what kinds of services do they provide? (Are they specialists in 87 to 93 5.0 GT's? I find that alot of these shops only work on 64 to 73 Mustangs and look down on the 87 to 93 Mustangs.
They do great paint jobs and body work? and will work with the insurance company and provide factory Ford OEM parts?
Are they open on weekends?..How long have they been in business and do you know their license number? Any other recommendations for body shops that do great body repair and paint jobs on our 87 to 93 Mustangs in the San Francisco Bay Area?

Sorry it took me so long to respond, last night (friday) some a**hole in a F-150 clipped me on the freeway, slammed on the brakes and put my hood under his bumper. Next thing I knew, my hood slammed open onto my windshield at 80mph and he stepped on the gas and kept going so I spent all day today repairing the damage. Anyway to get back to the repair shop question, I did find out that these guys specialize in the early model mustangs but also work on the later models as well. As far as body work, 2 associate of mine went there for body work a year and a half ago and said they did a great job. I called a friend of mine today and he told me that he went to Mustang Ranch in Santa Clara last month to get some specialty motor work done and he was amazed at the quality and "awesomeness" of the staff there. He said that they specialize in EVERYTHING mustang, including body work and not just first gen's. So I now change my recommendation to:

Thanks for the much needed info. This shop is further than the one in San Bruno. The one in San Bruno looks like a very small place but says it is open on Saturdays.
Good thing you didn't get injured in that collision. I will have to see with my insurance company to get some corrective work done on my car from the first bodyshop that did unsatisfactory work on it and broke things in the process.

I checked with both of these shops on here that was recommended and they only work on 65-73 Mustangs.
Any other recommendatings? I could find more on Corvettes strangely enough but nothing on Mustangs.

This is for body and collision work. Need to find out if there are any Mustang shops that do great work, paint jobs and corrective repairs and damage caused by another shoddy bodyshop.

Still can't find any in bay area. Are they all up in Sacramento or down in Southern California? I can't believe a popular car like this doesn't have a restoration shop or even a body shop that specializes in these cars in body work and mechanical work.

i thought your car was in factory perfect condition and the best looking one you have seen why would you need repairs for shoddy work if it is mint?

Thanks for the info. The car needs no bodywork as it is in pristine condition, cherry condition as they used to say I am looking to have some upgrades done to improve the performance of this car perhaps add a Paxton supercharger or Vortech and Edelbrock intake depending on your recommendations. I will call you up next week to bring car byand want to discuss $$cost and down time for car.
