So who made it to Knott's Berry Farm's Fabulous Fords Forever Car Show last weekend?
Who managed to make Knott's Berry Farm's "Fabulous Fords Forever Car Show" last weekend? Womfering who went and what you thought of the show?
Cathy and I arrived late so I ended up running around taking pictures which I will have online next day or two. We really enjoyed ourselves but I would have liked to have hooked up with a few of you there. Seemed like there were more cars entered this year and from what I could see it was another huge sucess. :thumbsup
This was my first year. I think I spent too much time cleaning my car, next year I'll drive it in there dirty - j/k
I think it was a good show. I just wish they didn't put all us newer Stangs way in the back, hell, the stinkin Pinto's had a better spot.

I was there. Good show, little disappointed in the Fox body turnout.I also fell they should have grouped ALL Fox body cars together, ALL 94-98 together, and all 99+ together. I know they want to keep Cobras and Saleens together, but it seems kinda strange with 1 or 2 Fox bodies amidst all the 94+ cars. In the past few years the Fox convertibles have been separated from the hardtops, this year was no different. Any reason for that?
Sometimes I get the feeling they are trying to make it a pre 74 show. I guess some of it has to do with the lack of interest in showing for the late model crowd.
There was a ton of space out where the Euro Fords, Pintos, and LTDs were. Maybe they should think about rearranging things a little.
I just hope the two FFW events (Palmdale and Phoenix) get a good turnout. I want them to come back to the west coast.
I got to go for the first time this year. My car was in no shape to be in the show but maybe next year. I thought the turnout was pretty good. Really a nice big show! I wished the newer mustangs where included a little more in the main display area though. And I had kinda hope to see more fox bodies. That is why I am going to make sure and bring my car next year. Actually there where more fox bodies in the parking lot of sears than in the show.
or my wife Cathy... We were both pretty busy putting AFM flyers on all of the Mustangs we found in the parking lot. We never thought of doing it until we went to park our stang when we first arrived. Next year we will be better prepared. We had plenty of flyers but not enough time or leg power to even begin to cover all of the parking lots. Oh well there's always next year and its good to see the few flyers we did manage to hand out went to good use.

the turnout was better than last year. im glad they put the svo with the late models instead of the early models as in years past. my big gripe was that my vert was no where near the other fox bodies. that was wrong. last year i was across from my wife's 93, this year 50+ yards away with the early models. the ltd with the mustang nose was a great sight to see. next year, ill have three cars there if the 85 is finished in time, or maybe the 86(91) ssc/gt will be there.
