Just a word of wisdom, Shawn Ellis at So Cal Tuning in Anaheim is a rip off. I recently purchased a Teksid aluminum block from him on ebay, paid $275 with shipping, and he never sent it, doesn't return phone calls or email now. I tried to dispute with paypal, but they are not able to recover the funds at this time.

His ebay screenname is ocz06.

After being screwed by Mr Ellis, I did some research and looks like he has a pretty bad rep in the industry. Wish I had researched him before sending him money!


PS - this is not my first post here... my old acct must have gotten wiped out due to non-use.

I can't believe it! I thought it was just me and just my own misunderstanding with Shawn. I have been to his "SoCalled Tuning" shop in Anaheim twice and wow did I pay for it (literally!). Never ever again will I go to this guy. Anyone locally in SoCal shouldn't either. Details are not necessary, but it is nice to know that what I felt after going to Shawn is valid.

wow im surprised to see this! (sarcasim) shawn ripped me off for 400 to tune my car. guy talked all highly of himself telling me hes tuned roush before and what not. i go in never got it done he took my money and ignores my calls. anyone down to burn the place down?

I say we all go down there and protest his shop and let the people who walk in there know how a crook he is how do guys like that stay in business anyone have a picture of him to post it we should have a page just for exposing ripoffs with pictures.

sad part is he doesnt own the shop! i forgot the shop name but hes renting out their dyno and he just does dyno and tunes. but even that how he stays in business i dont konw. but i guess its from all the f***ed up stuff he keeps doing
