I see that it passed the emissions test with flying colors, according to the results its running at about 14.7:1 air/fuel ratio which is great, the problem is the computer doesn't think its correct. I would start by cleaning the mass air flow sensor with MAF sensor cleaner that you can find at Napa or Autozone, undo the connector from the sensor, remove the bolts and see if the wire is dirty, if it is spray it down, let it dry and reinstall. Then see clear the codes(either with a scanner or leave the NEG- batterey cable off for 20min), drive it for a couple days so the the computers non-continuous monitors can run, if the MIL doesnt return take it in and have them run a pre-test first to see if that fixed the problem. Make sure you also have no vaccum leaks. |
