Talking San Diego looking for vintage friends!!

Hi all,

I'm based just outside of downtown San Diego and I'm very new to the American classic muscle scene. Originally from the UK I have been in the US for 10 years and only now am I starting to get the classic muscle bug.

My girlfriend and I have agreed to start saving next year with the goal of buying a clean, solid 67 GT Fastback as our first ever classic car and then slowly transforming it into a 500GT Replica.

I'd really like to meet up with any San Diego based owners, see their cars and really start to get a deep understanding of the year and model that I am hoping to own one day. I want to know EVERYTHING right down to the gauge of the wires that connect to the fog lamp switch and run through the 3/4" grommets in the radiator. Yeah I'm a freak for the details.

So if there's any old timers out there that would like to teach a semi-old/young brit about all of the beautiful details of the classic pony Fastback hit me up, I'll bring the donuts and coffee if you bring the knowledge.

Looking forward to becoming an American muscle addict.

Joel

Hey Joel sounds like you need to check out the classic section for some help. There are a lot of people on this site from down there in that area.

Could you move this post over there so I don't double post? That would be great.

Thanks
