Well, it's as my sig says... it's been official since Thursday, February 5, 2004...
I am now the proud owner of a 2004 Mystichrome Cobra convertible. I soooo love this car!!! I can't believe I've had it now for almost a month!!! It seems like only yesterday I picked it up from the dealer with only 3.6 miles on it. Now, it has a little over 1200 miles on it! Haha, yeah, you can imagine I've been driving her all over the place! It's so addictive! Living here in Southern CA during the winter has permitted me to drive her around with the top down when the weather is pleasantly warm and sunny.
You wanna know what I love about this car? I'll tell ya...
-- First off, it's a Mustang, and the Mustang has always stood for everything that means pure, innocent fun and freedom with its hunky persona, better known as the "muscle car."
-- It's a Cobra. I've found that it's the envy of all the other (non-Mustang) drivers out on the roads! Why? Well, since it's an SVT model, it's a rare car no matter what. And I love limited production cars. Oh yeah, you in the Porsche, I see you checkin' out my ride!!!
-- I've always liked the current Mustang's good looks, and with the 03-04 Cobra's front fascia, it gives this horse/snake understated badazz good looks.
-- Mine's a convertible WITH the chrome SVT Cobra wheels!!! Convertible muscle cars always look real badazz with chrome wheels. I've noticed the car attracts a lot of attention. I wonder why?
-- It's a Mystichrome! Ya can't beat that color changing paint. Green to blue to purple to black... all my favorite colors! And the leather on the seats and steering wheel changes color too. I love it!
It's no wonder I get so many compliments from people everywhere I go. Most of the questions I get are related to the paint/leather. The #1 question I get is: "Is that aftermarket?" Ha, you should see the looks on their faces when I tell them that it's stock and the significance of it (you know... 40th Anniversary Edition, only 1000 made, etc.).
And because of all this, I can't help but have this stupid grin plastered on my face everytime I drive her. And even though I have my Oakleys on, it's real hard to keep a straight face if I should notice the dude in the truck next to me or the cute chick in the import across from me checkin' out my ride. Haha, I'll admit, I love it when the chicks actually check me out (and not the car). But lately, I think it's both they're checkin' out. LOL!
This weekend is gonna be nice and sunny and warm, with highs in the 80s. I plan to wash my ride and drive her down to the beach and take some serious pics of her. And the Pacific Ocean always makes for a great background.
Anyways, I just had to come on here and let everyone know the good news!
