Hi,

I have a '98 GT Convertible. I've owned it for about a year, and it hasn't needed much...just the normal maintenance that I have always done myself.

But, I'd like to get some referrals on mechanics in the Santa Barbara area so I can prepare for that day when I will need some work done.

In particular, I'd like to talk to someone who knows my car's AOD transmission.

Let me know if you've had good or bad experiences. I don't have a feeling about the local dealer here either, since this is the first Ford that I've owned since I sold my '65 Ranch Wagon a few years ago.

I don't know of a good one in S.B., but in North county at Santa Maria Ford they have an excellent tech staff.

I work in Goleta so I can ask a few of my co-workers about S.B.
