I Have Just Bought A 1966 Mustang Coupe And I Live In Bellingham Washington. I Have Been Trying To Start A Bellingham Chapter Of Vintage Mustangs Because There Is No Club Around The Area. The Closet One Is About 60 Miles Away. We Need A More Centralized Club Because There Is Alot Of Stangers In Bellingham And Alot Of Them Dont Want To Drive Down To Tacoma Or Up To Vancouver Canada Just To Be In A Car Club. If There Is Anyone In Bellingham Or Close To That Is Interested In Starting A Chapter Or That Knows Of Another Chapter Near By Please Get Back To Me. I Have Been Trying To Find A Vintage Mustang Club To Join Closer To My Area But With No Luck.

I have a new 2004 GT. I live in Oak Harbor and there isn't a car crew worth crap up here. I wouldn't mind going to a track up here, but I don't know of any in the immeadiate area.

Sorry I have been slacking so much on responding to the thread, I've been busy with school and all that fun stuff. I am actually in the process of restoring a 68 with my dad which has been a lot of fun. It's too bad you guys are so far away. I actually just got done moving to puyallup, wa, so now I am even further away. Have either of you gone to the Northwest Mustangs car show or something like that, they hold the carshow in Bellevue?

I live in Ferndale, north of Bellingham. Would definitely be interested in finding out about local Mustang clubs!

hey born2run, i live in bellingham and i own a 66 coupe. did you buy yours from pioneer ford in lynden? if so i test drove your exact car. those are sweet rides man. 300hp stock. i have been trying to get a bunch of people together to start a bellingham chapter just for stangs. so if we get enough reply's and people are interested then maybe we can start a local club.

Strange thing on this car - it doesn't have a leather wrapped steering wheel even though it's a GT!? Brochure says all GT's have leather-wrapped wheels. Going to have the dealer take a look at a remedy when I get my plates.
I saw that Diehl Ford had a silver GT, but it's probably gone by now too.
Count me in as definitely interested in starting a local mustang club! This is my first stang...

hey born2run, thats funny man. i test drove your car before you bought it. sorry about the few miles i put on it. pioneer ford right now has a white with blue racing stripes ford gt !!!!!! i sat in it too. what a space ship!!! it was so nice i felt unworthy to sit in it,... but i did!! one of my friends lives in ferndale and she just told me she saw you cruzin around town yesterday or the day before. just like you said small world. we should totally get together sometime and hang. i will let you check out my 1966 stang coupe and drive it if ya want, since i have already driven yours! anyway here is my email address: Mike_Lahr@asg.aon.com. hit me up and maybe we can get together sometime and bs about stangs. talk to you later man.
